Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi has spoken about patience and building at Naturena, but the chances of him completing the project is becoming increasingly difficult, the Siya crew has been led to believe.
Nabi has endured a difficult first season at the helm of Chiefs, who are in danger of missing out on finishing in the top eight for a second season running. Last season Amakhosi finished 10th with coach Cavin Johnson at the helm.

In 13 Betway Premiership matches in 2025, Amakhosi have registered just four victories and the one thing keeping their hopes of ending the season with a smile is their participation in the Nedbank Cup.
The Soweto giants are in the semi-finals, where they will face Mamelodi Sundowns.
Siya sources close to the club have indicated that, hypothetically speaking, defeat in the semi-finals is expected to result in an emergency meeting for Nabi with management.
Insiders privy to information at Chiefs added that there is contrasting feelings by various members of management in terms of when to make a decision on Nabi's job.
The Tunisian will have to at least finish in the top eight in the league or win the Nedbank Cup to rescue what has been an underwhelming season.
"What they have been discussing is believed to have put the coach under pressure. I don't think only with the Mamelodi Sundowns Nedbank Cup semi-finals game but also this weekend against TS Galaxy. It's not only about winning the cup but also finishing in the top eight in the league and management believe that if the team loses or draws against TS Galaxy that would spell another disaster so the pressure is not only for the Nedbank Cup but starting on Saturday," the source told Soccer Laduma.
Meanwhile a second insider believes that the premature end of Nabi's time at Amakhosi is possible but underlined how there are different views from management and the board on whether he should finish the season or not.

"Yes the main target now is to reach the Nedbank Cup final and losing to Sundowns could mean the coach would be relieved of his duties. That's the other side of the management's thinking while the others think because it's already late; let him finish the season and see where the team finishes, even if we are knocked out of the Nedbank Cup. So it's mixed feelings and the main decision would be taken after the game against Sundowns. So, as much as others want him gone if he loses against Sundowns, others feel it would he too little too late so he should finish the season," the second insider stated.
Soccer Laduma contacted Chiefs for an official comment on Nabi's position but the club had not responded before publishing this report.
The Siya crew previously reported how Nabi would be trusted to finish his contract even though the team is not performing according to expectations, but management did appreciate the few improvements noted. However, recent results is placing added pressure on Nabi.
The next few weeks will be crucial for Nabi to turn things around for the Soweto giants.
