The story

After recently earning his 50th cap for Bafana Bafana, Percy Tau is ready to level up his personal branding by partnering with an up-and-coming sports branding entity.

The 30-year-old has joined To The Max Sports, a subsidiary of To The Max Management, an agency that works with the likes of actresses Linda Mtoba and Zola Nombona.

To The Max Sports already boasts Proteas cricket captain Themba Bavuma in its ranks and with Tau on board, that reputation of this agency in the sports industry will likely be elevated.

The agency, which prides itself on maintaining and developing personal brands for esteemed athletes, is owned by young entrepreneur Ntando Zikalala expressed her excitement in collaborating with 'The Lion of Judah'.

"This partnership represents more than just a signing; it's a convergence of visions. We're inspired by Percy's extraordinary journey, which so eloquently shows how talent and unbridled determination can cut through the noise," noted Zikalala, in her agency's statement.

"His commitment to excellence, coupled with his connection to the ordinary man, positions him as not just an athlete but an aspirational giant in African sports," added Zikalala.

"Together, we aim to build pathways for aspiring athletes and showcase the incredible sporting potential that our continent holds."
