The story
Former Orlando Pirates star, Mntambo proudly represented and uplifted his old school, Trinity Secondary School at the annual Lenasia School Sports awards.
The outgoing and stylish Babina Noko midfielder took to Instagram to share a series of images from the awards evening that took place at the Greyville Primary School in the Lenasia area, a suburb south of Soweto in Johannesburg.
Mntambo expressed his undying pride for Trinity Secondary, lauding the school for remaining consistent in prioritising academic and sporting excellence.
"My school, Trinity Secondary School won everything at the Lenz Sports School awards ceremony. During our time, we dominated in sports and academics and nothing has changed," shared Mntambo on his IG story post with the award winners from his alma mater.
