The story
Starlet, Relebohile Mofokeng helped Orlando Pirates make it six wins out of six in the Betway Premiership, as Jose Riveiro's men claimed a 2-0 win over TS Galaxy at the Mbombela Stadium on Tuesday night.
'Rele' sent the Bucs fans in Nelspruit into a state of delirium when he regained possession at the edge of the Galaxy box to fire a lethal long-range shot to double Pirates' lead in the 72nd minute.
It's young Mofokeng's fourth goal of the current campaign, with 20-year-old opening his 2024/25 Betway Premiership account with a goal that's already been compared to a goal his father, Sechaba, once scored in the Nedbank Cup.
In 2013, Mofokeng senior scored a wonder strike from well outside the box to help minnows Tembu Royals knock out AmaZulu in the Last 32 of the Nedbank Cup.
From the near-identical ball striking to a dancing celebration, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree when looking at Sechaba and Relebohile.
