In German football, names like Serge Gnabry and Leroy Sane quickly spring to mind with 21-year-old star, Jamal Musiala, slowly catching up to them.
As the worlds of fashion and football continue to cross paths, ballers are finding brand and creative success in the fashion world, from creating their own clothing lines to ambassadorial roles with established brands, it's no longer considered obscure for athletes to explore their style.
In a feature with British lifestyle magazine, Versus, Musiala spoke about his interest in fashion and the brand Bottega Veneta, as well as the importance of players finding meaning beyond the beautiful game.
"I feel like Bottega fits my style best compared to most other brands out there," said the versatile German, who was styled in Bottega's Autumn/Winter 2024 range for his photoshoot with Versus
"I don't enjoy wearing clothing that's over the top and in your face. I like how understated Bottega is," says Musiala, who exudes the the class of the Italian luxury fashion house.
Musiala also shared why the Bottega's design ethos matches perfectly with his personality. "I like to think I'm quite a chilled and relaxed person, so I prefer to keep my looks quite clean and minimalist.
"Bottega are quite understated with their designs but also elevated at the same time. I really like that about them, that they can be so simple yet still turn heads, for the right reasons.
"All of the fits I've even worn, and the accessories from Bottega, have been super clean. That's why I think we're quite aligned," shared the Bayern star.
