The story

Former Orlando Pirates attacker, Vincent Pule came up against his ex-club for the second time this season on Tuesday when SuperSport United faced the Buccaneers.

Goals from Evidence Makgopa and Deon Hotto were enough to see Pirates maintain their unbeaten start in the Betway Premiership, while Pule's new club, SuperSport languish in 13th place on the league table.

A reunion with his former employers was always going to be an emotional one for 'Mashonisa' and after both encounters against Bucs this season, Pule has been happily embraced by his ex-colleagues and friends from Pirates.

Pule's only goal of the season so far came against Pirates in a 3-1 defeat to the eventual 2024 MTN8 winners, a strike that resulted in the 32-year-old refusing to celebrating in respect to his former team.
