The story
Teko Modise, Siphiwe Tshabalala and Lucas Radebe have set the tone for how South African footballers should approach their personal branding after hanging up their boots.
Modise, who's worked with brands such as Samsonite, PUMA, Nedbank and Hollywoodbets among others, shared visuals of a new campaign he's doing with Grandpa.
In Grandpa's new #Nakanjani campaign, Modise returns to his Sowetan roots to tell a story about how he pushed through pain and overcame humble beginnings.
The campaign also allowed to Modise to explain why he takes so much pride in being from Soweto, "If you know anything about me, you know that I believe that hard work and determination have always been the name of my game.
"I have always made sure to push throug #Nakanjani to get to where I am today."From pain to power, from humble beginnings in Soweto to global stages, I am proud of where I come from and hope to inspire everyone else to push through," shares Modise in the caption to his IG brand post, in collaboration with Grandpa."

Modise also shared some brand work he's doing with famous whiskey brand, Johnnie Walker, to promote the Luxurious Marble Circus, an upcoming food and music festival taking place in Muldersdrift, Krugersdorp.
