Kaizer Chiefs have surprisingly inquired about the availability of an Orlando Pirates midfielder, according to insiders privy to information.
The player in question is Goodman Mosele who is currently on loan at Chippa United.

Sources close to the two clubs have indicated that Amakhosi have heard that the Bafana Bafana midfielder's contract is coming to an end at the end of the season and that they want to take advantage of these circumstances.
The sources added how developments have progressed for Chiefs in their inquiries for the Pirates player.
"It seems they have heard that his contract at Pirates is coming to an end at the end of the season and they want to take advantage of that. But at the same time Pirates have offered to renew his contract so it's going to be a tricky situation," said the Siya source.
"It will also depend on what Chiefs will offer him and for how long against what Pirates are tabling in their offer. But I can tell you Chiefs are interested in Goodman (Mosele)," the source observed.
A second Siya source added that if Mosele doesn't agree to a new deal at Pirates then he won't be short of offers anyway.
"Yes it's true Pirates have offered him a new deal but there are teams interested in his services as well. You remember before he joined Chippa United on loan at the start of the season there were other teams which were interested in his services?" stated the second source.
"And as a player he also wants to be where he can have more game time and attract Bafana Bafana call-ups like he did recently. So, those are the other things which will come into play in his whole situation," the source added.
Since joining the Chilli Boys at the begining of the season, the 24-year-old Mosele has been very consistent and a pivotal member of the team.
Soccer Laduma contacted Chiefs and Pirates for comment but no response was received before this story was published.
