We're currently in the international break, meaning that for Europe's biggest nations, this serves as the last time head coaches will get time with their respective players before preparing for the continental showpiece in Germany come the end of the season.
Many teams will be looking to exercise the demons of the 2020 edition, and perhaps England will be feeling confident. At the previous Euros, Gareth Southgate's charges managed to make it to a Wembley Stadium final, but were thwarted by Italy in a penalty shootout.
Even then, England had a lot of talent at their disposal, but heading into this year's edition, they have even better quality! The likes of Raheem Sterling, Mason Mount, Kieran Trippier, Kalvin Phillips, Jadon Sancho and Jordan Henderson were all at the top of their games, but now Southgate has players who are undoubtedly the best players in their respective teams.
This time around, he has two frontrunners for the Ballon d'Or in Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane playing at exceptional levels for Real Madrid and Bayern Munich respectively. While in England, Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka are making cases as being the best players not only at Arsenal, but also in the entire Premier League this campaign.
Contending with them for the title of the 2023/24 league's best player is Phil Foden. Still a youngster when Southgate included him for the last tournament, the attacking midfielder has taken a great step forward in his game as he has been an ever-present in a Manchester City side looking to repeat the treble.
The aforementioned names will likely be starters, but even on the bench England will have a lot of fire power to call upon. Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins is the most productive player in the EPL when it comes to offensive output as he has 16 goals and 10 assists to his name in England's top division. At Chelsea, Cole Palmer has shown he has the potential to be a massive player judging by the way he has seamlessly taken the mantle of being the Blues' most prominent star. The Manchester native has 16 goals and 12 assists in all competitions as he leads a young team during a trying time.
There are still some question marks regarding certain positions, such as central midfield. Will the former Middlesborough manager stick with his tried and tested soldier in Henderson, or give Manchester United's new teenage sensation Kobbie Mainoo a chance? There's also the question over who between Luke Shaw and Ben Chilwell will be given the starting left-back position, with both being prone to injury.

Regardless of those questions, England have one of the most talented squads on the planet and will be expecting to win it all!
