What's the story?
The graphic designers over at JerseyBird have built a strong reputation and following for their concept kit designs shared on social media, primarily TikTok where they have over 800 000 followers.
There's a huge South African football fan contingency among those followers, who have pleaded with the main designer to create his own iteration of an Orlando Pirates jersey.

Concept Pirates kit
Orlando Pirates fans on TikTok have had their wish granted by JerseyBird, with the designer sharing his own design of an Orlando Pirates jersey.
After getting plenty of requests in the comment section of his videos from Pirates fans to design a jersey for the Soweto giants, JerseyBird finally obliged, producing an absolute beauty!
JerseyBird used one of Johannesburg's biggest urban attractions, the Maboneng Precinct as inspiration for the design — using an abstract pattern that symbolizes the unique architecture and the street art in Maboneng as the main artistic piece of the jersey.
The sleeves see a red highlight splashed onto the abstract shapes displayed on the jersey, with the Vodacom sponsor and club crest also shown in red.
