Chiefs' Beacon Of Light Keep Kasi Flava Heritage Alive

In celebration of Kaizer Chiefs' 54th birthday month, we look at the most Kasi Flava moments from the club's brightest stars like Mduduzi Shabalala and Mfundo Vilakazi.

What's the story?

The Kaizer Chiefs institution turned 54-years yesterday and in celebration of that, we check out some of the Kasi Flava moments in recent times from current stars.

Although the club have been starved of success over the last few years, there are a few players who manage to keep that entertainers feeling alive.

Kasi Flava stays alive at Chiefs

Kasi Flava at Amakhosi is being kept alive by some of their brightest home grown talents. The likes of Mduduzi Shabalala, Samkelo Zwane and Mfundo Vilakazi have been giving the Khosi faithful many reasons to smile.

These players excelled at Diski Challenge level and will hope to do so for many years to come at Chiefs, with club celebrating its 54th birthday on Sunday.

These aforementioned ballers not only represent the type of player fans want to see at the club, but also possess the versatility and skill to have successful careers.

The late Scara Ngobese is seen as one of the last entertainers to don the colours of Kaizer Chiefs, with his Kasi Flava videos continuing to uplift his legacy in South African football.

The Scara Ngobese legacy lives through youngsters Zwane, Vilakazi and Shabalala, who have all put grown men to shame on the pitch with their Kasi Flava razzle dazzle.

Here's Mduduzi 'Mdu or Die" Shabalala's memorable skills at his first senior Soweto Derby match at the FNB Stadium last season:

Remember Samkelo Zwane's vicious "Sikela" against Stellenbosch FC in the last campaign? We still can't over the sleekness of the 22-year-old's dribbling.

Mfundo 'Obrigado' Vilakazi is yet to break into the first team at the Glamour Boys, but is already one of the most hyped teenagers in South African football.

Vilakazi has caught eyes on numerous occasions in the DStv Diski Challenge and went viral on social media over the weekend for his dazzling display in midfield for the Black Label All Stars team in the Carling Black Label Knockout Cup All Stars match against Stellies:
