Greenwood has not featured for the Red Devils since January 2022 when he was arrested for attempted rape, controlling behaviour and assault, although the charges were dropped in February this year.
The 22-year-old has been rebuilding his career in the Spanish top-flight this campaign, where he has registered three goals and four assists in 14 appearances.
That form has seemingly caught the eye of Barcelona, who have been monitoring the forward's situation, according to the Sun.
The Catalan giants are reportedly ready to offer the Red Devils £40million for Greenwood's services at the end of the current season.
The report adds that Barcelona are also willing to offer Greenwood the famous No.10 shirt, which previously worn by the likes of Lionel Messi and Ronaldinho.
There are reports claiming Greenwood would be keen on staying in the Spanish top-flight next season as the Red Devils are unlikely to bring the player back in the squad.
