Bongani Sam's ride
26-year-old left back Bongani Sam has proudly brandished his scintilating sports car on his Instagram page, and honestly, who could blame him?
The baller is a proud owner of a BMW M240i lightning-quick coupe that accelerates from to 0-100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds!
Sam has the 2018 version of this famed BMW 2 Series, which is valued at around R539 999 according to Auto Trader, mention some of its awesome features including a multifunction steering wheel, daytime driving lights, a state of the art on-board computer/multi-information display and rain sensors among other specs.
"The 2 series handles itself with aplomb, thanks in part to its quick, accurate steering responses and its solid, capable chassis. The ride over uneven pavement is generally good, and passengers are isolated reasonably well from most bumps by the firmly controlled suspension," reads a review from caranddriver.com.
This 2 series is praised for its adaptive suspension and its handling, and has been compared to the Audi TT and Mercedes Benz AMG C 43.

This M240i may be seen as a lesser version of the M2, but still offers plenty of comfort with elite sporting performance.
Thedrive.com reviewed this beauty, mentioning that the M240i will "rock a road nearly as well as its big-bore M2 stablemate, but without wiping out a bank account."
"Really, every ingredient you need is baked into this fun-sized M240i, beginning with a direct-injection, 3.0-liter inline six with a twin-scroll turbocharger and variable valve timing and camshaft lift. Its 365 horsepower is 30 fewer than the 2018 M2, but the M240i counters with 26 additional pound-feet of torque, at 369 pound-feet," states Thedrive.com on the car's more technical features.
Other features on the M240i include bigger brakes, 18-inch alloy wheels, 10-way power adjustable front seats, a sports instrument cluster and dynamic cruise control, as per autoblog.com.
Sam was first spotted with this ride during his days at Orlando Pirates and has also been seen in a red hot BMW M4, the Bavarian car makers clearly make Sam's favourite type of cars.
