Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has reacted to the costly mistakes Andre Onana made in the Red Devils' shock 3-2 defeat at home to Galatasaray in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night.

The team's defensive woes continued at Old Trafford on Tuesday as they allowed the Turkish giants to respond almost immediately after the home side took the lead twice only to concede moments later, errors that eventually saw them lose all three points.
Onana has once again come under fire for yet another high-profile error in the Champions League, after his wayward pass led to Casemiro needing to make a last-ditch tackle in his own box, for which he received a second yellow card.
The Cameroonian has also been criticised for going to ground too early for Mauro Icardi's winner in the 81st minute of the encounter, but Ten Hag has insisted he will continue to back the man who replaced David de Gea in the recent window.
"We are happy with our goalkeeping group, definitely with Andre, and Andre was in one semi-finals of the Champions League, last season he was in a final of the Champions League, he has the capabilities to be one of the best goalkeepers in the world," the Dutchman said, according to Manchester Evening News.
"He showed that and he will do. We have already seen in games his great capabilities, also his personality after he made a mistake. He will bounce back and I'm sure he will do in the coming games as well.
"I think I need to talk to more players, but I need to talk with Andre, of course. I will encourage him and I have to back him. He's a great goalkeeper."
