According to Brazil-based publication Globo Esporte, experienced centre-back Thiago Silva wishes to return to his home country to see out his playing career.
The 38-year-old joined the Blues in 2020 as a free agent following a successful eight-year spell at Paris Saint-Germain, and has been among the team's most consistent performers since.
His time in England, however, could be coming to an end amid reports he is considering asking the London club to let him leave despite there still being another year on his deal.
Silva has previously voiced his concern with the issues Chelsea have faced this season, having suggested that their poor form on the field is a result of what is happening in the boardroom.
