Earlier this week, it was claimed the 38-year-old had made his frustrations with French manager Rudi Garcia known following the team's 0-0 draw with Al Fayha last weekend.
Pressure on the ex-Roma boss seemed to increase after Ronaldo's arrival in January, which was followed by expectations that the team would go on to win the Saudi Pro League.
Al Nassr, however, are currently trailing league leaders Al-Ittihad by three points with just seven matches remaining until the end of the 2022/23 campaign.
Garcia has since been relieved of his duties in the Middle East, as announced by the club on Thursday, with Ronaldo taking to Instagram to wish his now-former coach good luck for the future.
"Pleasure to have worked with you. Wishing you all the best for the future," he wrote, according to Goal.
Big-named managers have been linked with the vacant role since, amid reports the Saudi giants are aiming to employ a head coach with a long history of success to continue the club's profile growth.
