Orlando Pirates are stepping up their pursuit of attacker Katlego Otladisa, with Siya sources indicating that the Buccaneers' "serious" interest could see them pay a transfer fee for the player.
The Siya crew reported on the interest from both Kaizer Chiefs and Pirates last year; however, Gallants remained resolute in holding onto the speedster.

Indications are that Pirates will, in the coming days, launch a bid to try entice Gallants into selling their talisman.
Their previous resistance by no means suggests the door would be closed for a potential sale, especially with the player set to enter into the final year of his contract with the club.
Otladisa, after parting ways with Mamelodi Sundowns, signed a three-year contract with Gallants in July 2021, meaning he remains on their books until June 2024, at the very least.
To cash in, Gallants will either have to sell now or extend his current deal to be able to have a say on his future.
The Siya crew reached out to the player's representative Nimrod Mbhalati for comment; however, he would not confirm or deny the interest.
"Look, I've been avoiding most of your calls with regards to Dox because it's a tricky one you know, and a very sensitive one because of the position Marumo Gallants is in.
"So, it can't be about Otladisa at the moment because he's still employed by them, and the mandate is to save the team and he knows that as well.
"But obviously it's not surprising that there is interest. He is a talented player and good scouts can never miss him, so let's wait until end of the season and see what's gonna happen," he told the crew.
