It's been three season since Bidvest Wits and Gavin Hunt defied the odds to be crowned Absa Premiership champions, but how do their current squad compare to their title-winning squad?
Interestingly, only five of the 40 players that formed part of Hunt's squad are still at the club three years on. Thulani Hlatshwayo, Sifiso Hlanti, Thanbang Monare, Elias Pelembe and Buhle Mkhwanazi are the only remaining members of Wits' title-winning season.

Goalkeepers
Wits have retained none of the goalkeepers from that season. The likes of Dareen Keet, Jethren Barr, Kyle Peters and Moeneeb Josephs have all since moved on. Keet has returned to Belgium, while Josephs has taken up a position as AmaZulu's goalkeeper coach.
Defenders
Bongani Khumalo, Marcus Lecki, Keanu Cupido, Pentjie Zulu, Reeve Frosler, Siyabonga Nhlapo and Nazeer Allie all parted ways with the club, while Siboniso Gaxa called time on his playing career, leaving only Hlatshwayo and Mkhwanazi at the club
Midfielders
Hunt's preferred midfield combination of Thabang Monare and Xola Mlambo, worked effectively, before the latter moved on to Orlando Pirates, with the likes of Ben Motshwari and Vincent Pule following him to the Soweto giants. Other notable departures were that of Jabulani Shongwe and Mokgakolodi Ngele.
Meanwhile the likes of Daine Klate and Dillon Shepherd have ventured into coaching after hanging up their boots.

Strikers
Gabadinho Mhango is another striker that the Clever Boys lost to Pirates, while the likes of James Keene, Knox Mutizwa and Eleazar Rodgers also left the club.
