Burundi take on Mauritania at the Peter Mokaba stadium in Polokwane on Saturday as both sides will be looking for a first win at the African Nations Championship.
Both novices tasted defeat in their opening Group D games with Mauritania going down 1-0 to the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Patrice Neveu will welcome back Mohamed Yacoub Deina Bah and Taghiyoullah Mohamed Denna, their two key players in the midfield, who were suspended for the opening game.
Mourabitounes however will be without their skipper Moussa Bakayoko, who was sent off against the DRC.
Burundi did manage to pick up a point in their 0-0 stalemate against Gabon on their opening outing but will hope for an improved performance after being dominated by the Panthers.
