Roger De Sa For Ajax MultiChoice Diski Team

Ajax Cape Town head coach, Roger de Sa, has taken the decision to coach the Urban Warriors' MultiChoice Diski team, along with his responsibilities as the PSL side's head coach of the first team.

The PSL and SAFA were at loggerheads about the rules and regulations of the MultiChoice Diski Challenge, however, with the reserve league tournament already under way, it seems as if the rules have been agreed upon.

The Siya crew reported last week that although the tournament will an U23 rule in place, teams will be allowed to use three players over the age of 23.

Ajax have players under the age of 23 in abundance as their first-team squad is made up of a majority of youngsters, all of whom are in contention for a place in the first team.

"Why didn't they (Mamelodi Sundowns) release Manqele to sign a permanent deal? Why did they release Shai and Sangweni?" Click here to check out the exclusive QA with Josiah Mphono.

De Sa looks set to use some of his young players who haven't been playing regularly in the first team since the start of the 2014/15 Absa Premiership season in the Multichoice Diski Challenge.

However, the former Orlando Pirates mentor has the option to use some of his more experienced players on the weekend, to give them some much needed match fitness.
