Sekhukhune United have acquired the services of three youngsters who featured in the Philly's Games, the Siya crew can reveal.
The tournament has become hope for ambitious, young footballers, with the competition giving a platform to unknown talent for the past 30 years.
Doornkop Students Academy trio, striker Kgothatso Mathibe (18), wingers Slindile Nhlapo (17) and Sibongiseni Gabuza (19), have been signed by the PSL newbies after their impressive displays in the amateur tournament.
The news was confirmed by the trio's representative, Pontsho Madumo from Cream Sport Agency.
"Those three players have completed moves to Sekhukhune. They were very impressed with them and I'm happy that they will now grow as footballers," Madumo confirmed to the Siya crew.
As previously reported, Sekhukhune United are understood to have bolstered the side with Justin Shonga, as well as Namibian international Wazza Elmo Kambindu.
In other news, Babina Noko are set to announce a partnership with Doornkop, with Siya sources indicating that an announcement can be expected in the coming days.
