Last month the crew reported that the skilful but wayward midfielder had been invited by the Dube Birds and trained with them for a period of a month in an effort to resurrect his ailing career.
However when things looked promising for the 30-year-old, negotiations hit a snag resulting in the move failing.
The crew has been in touch with Yende's agent, Sipho Shaven, who has confirmed that he is still working at finding the Tembisa-born midfielder a club to play for come the January transfer window.
"We had hoped to find Yende a club before the Christmas break so that is what we are working for, hopefully come the transfer window in January he will have a club to play for," said Shaven.

Yende left Chiefs for Maritzburg United in the 2012/13 season where he only spent a season with the Team of Choice before joining Free State Stars in the 2013/14 season, where again he spent a season after only playing 11 league games for Ea Lla Koto.
