The former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder is currently with Palmeros FC in the third tier, as confirmed by the club's co-owner, Ian Palmer.
Yende, 32, is on a mission to resurrect his career with Palmeros, with a view to return to the professional ranks at some stage.
"We've got Yende here playing with us. We are helping him to get his fitness back again. He came to train with us. He is looking for a team. He only joined us before the window period closed, so that he can work on his match fitness and get fit again. Hopefully in January he should be fit enough to get a team in the PSL," said Palmer.
Having signed for Chiefs from University of Pretoria in 2009, Yende went on to play for Maritzburg United and Free State Stars, among other clubs.
