Golden Arrows head coach Manqoba Mngqithi says he fought with his players during halftime of their clash against Kaizer Chiefs.
The KwaZulu-Natal side returned to winning ways in the Betway Premiership with a 2-1 victory over the Soweto giants.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns coach was pleased with his players' reaction in the second half after a slow first period.

"We must also give credit to them; we started the game quite well and they came at us. They made some silly mistakes in the attacking third especially first half. In the dying stages of the first half which prompted me to make those changes," Mngqithi told SABC Sport.
"Lukhele was injured unfortunately and he had a very good game and immediately at halftime I thought we should change in midfield so that we can match the tempo of the opponents and I think our second half was much stronger.
"First half chances were mainly created from our high-press and they struggled to breakthrough, we got some good chances that we did not use.
"We were unfortunate in the second half with some breaks we got. I don't think we did enough to make sure it ends up in a goal because we were getting behind them.
"How many cutbacks we were trying on the right without succeeding even now Ndwandwe beats the opponent because he was tired, Knox was in a cutback position," said the coach.
"But unfortunately, you have to accept that these boys have worked very hard and we must give a lot of credit to them. They're willing, enthusiastic, forever trying and I fought with them at halftime because they were starting this habit of sitting back and I said to them I want us in the second half to be on top of their faces."
