Former Kaizer Chiefs forward Abbas Amidu is recovering after he was involved in a motor vehicle accident.

Amidu was involved in a motor vehicle accident in Zimbabwe on Tuesday last week. It is believed that the bus that they player was travelling in, veered off the road and overturned. The Zimbabwean player is said to be in a stable condition.

The 27-year-old is currently on the books of CAPS United in Zimbabwe. Apart from Chiefs, Amidu also spent some time with Black Leopards during his time in South Africa.
