Chippa United striker, Phumelele Bhengu, is itching for game time at the struggling PSL side. The former SA U23 player has been unable to cement a place in the starting XI at Chippa since he made his move to the Cape side in January.
Sources close to the Wilfred Mugeyi-coached outfit reveal that Bhengu is unhappy with his lack of progress in the team.
"The player is working very hard at training hoping for things to get better. He is looking fit and just waiting for his chance in the team. He can't be happy with his lack of game time," said the source.
Bhengu last enjoyed his football during his time with Mpumalanga Black Aces in the 2011/12 season. He spent the first half of the current campaign without a club.
Although Bhengu had problems with fitness when he first joined the side, the player is believed to have increased his work rate to support his push for a place in the starting XI.
