Cape Town Spurs have strengthened their coaching staff by appointing former Orlando Pirates midfielder Benson Mhlongo as assistant coach.
This move follows the departure of Vasili Manousakis, who has left the club to join Benni McCarthy's coaching staff for the Kenya national football team.

Mhlongo, who brings vast experience both as a player and coach, will now work alongside head coach Ernst Middendorp as Spurs fight to avoid relegation from the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
Mhlongo's leadership and tactical knowledge could prove vital in the team's bid for survival.
