Paul Pogba was recently linked with a shock move to Manchester City, but the Manchester United superstar was reportedly also offered to another club.
Man Utd Star To Quit Because Of Mourinho?
In the build-up to the Manchester derby at the weekend, Pep Guardiola claimed that Pogba's agent, Mino Raiola, offered the midfielder to City in January.
While the France international has not yet commented on the Spaniard's claims, manager Jose Mourinho did not seem convinced that the Citizens boss was telling the truth.
However, according to Mundo Deportivo, who cited Sports Illustrated, the Frenchman was also offered to Zinedine Zidane's Real Madrid at the beginning of the season.
It is believed that Los Blancos refused to make a bid for the 25-year-old due to the club's budget restraints, and apparently also felt they have enough strength in midfield anyway.
It has also been claimed that United have no plans to sell their star man, who scored a brace in their 3-2 win over their city rivals in their previous league encounter.
