Teams: Black Leopards v Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila
Date: 14 March 2021
Venue: Thohoyandou Stadium
A spot in the semi-finals of the Nedbank Cup will be at stake when Black Leopards host Limpopo rivals Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila on Sunday evening.
The match will get underway at 18h00.
Leopards reached the quarter-finals after edging AmaZulu 1-0 at the end of February but they have lost their form since then, losing three consecutive games in the league and dropped down to the bottom of the log.
However, Lidoda Duvha will be looking to salvage their season with a cup run and reach the semi-finals for the first time since 2011, where they went all the way to the final before losing to Orlando Pirates.
In contrast, a Nedbank Cup run has revived TTM's league fortunes although after knocking out Swallows in the last 16 on penalties, Vhadau Vha Damani drew with the same opposition and lost 2-1 to Golden Arrows on Wednesday in the league.
TTM, who are two points above the relegation zone on the log, will be gunning to reach the semi-finals of the Nedbank Cup for the first time in their history.
The sides have met once so far this season, playing to a 1-1 draw in December last year at this evening's venue.
