What's the story?
The Carling Black Label Cup gave Chiefs supporters something to smile about heading into the new campaign, following their win over Orlando Pirates on Sunday evening.
While players were shrugging off the pre-season cobwebs, the game proved to be a slow burner and eventually began kicking on as the tie progressed.

Drama Talking Points
Despite ending 0-0 in regulation time, the game provided many talking points that included Richard Ofori denying Daniel Cardoso from the spot, Itumeleng Khune making a point-blank save to the drama that unfolded during the penalty shoot-out after regulation time.
CBL Heroes
Chiefs had a number of stars who made good first impressions, including new boys such as Brandon Peterson, Sabelo Radebe and Kgaogelo Sekgota.
