Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena is sure that the PSL Footballer of the Season award will go to one of his players.
The last three awards have been collected by Sundowns players, Peter Shalulile earning two, with Themba Zwane also grabbing one.
Mokwena mentioned that if it were up to him, all of his players would share the major award and that his troops have been magnificent this season.
Here's how the readers reacted to his comments in the "Mokwena: Why PSL Footballer Of The Year Will Come From Downs" story:
"Some claim Saleng should be considered but is he constant enough? or it's a case of not having enough pool of players to select from?" says Shikabala.
"I've overlooked Williams for some time but yeah, he has raised his hand. Keeping clean sheets consistently. Wonderboy Mailula is another. Saleng on the other hand and not forgetting Bimenyimana on the other. It's gonna be lit," says Abuti.
"Luckily you are not one of the judges, someone will win the Nedbank in front of your most consistent team, and that team might have in them the player of the season, especially if it's the player that helped their team to collect a trophy this season, because if that player does what he did in the previous cup, then that player will deservedly be a player of the season," says cya.jicks.
With Richard Ofori making his way on the comeback trail, the goalkeeping situation at Orlando Pirates is set to become a little bit more complex.
Young keeper Sipho Chaine has been holding down the number 1 spot of late and although Ofori is still largely regarded as the club's first-choice keeper, the former Chippa United shot-stopper is set to retain his starting spot according to insiders.
Chaine has put in some consistent performances since making his debut against Cape Town City and along with the support he's reportedly receiving from the technical staff and the players, it's looking unlikely that Ofori will walk straight back into the team.

"Chiefs will donate Bvuma to them," says Khosilannete0
"They should hold on to them (Chaine Ofori) as well unless they are going to promote one from development," says thabotouchme.
