Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena is adamant that the PSL Footballer of the Season award will go to one of the players in his squad.
The last three footballer of the season awards have gone to a Sundowns player, with Peter Shalulile claiming two and Themba Zwane bagging the other. And, as the season draws nearer to an end, Mokwena believes that a Sundowns player will be collecting the trophy and prize money yet again.

Cassius Mailula, Ronwen Williams and Teboho Mokoena are just some of the players who have stood out for the DStv Premiership champions and they probably can't be ruled out of featuring on the list come the end of the season.
"If it were up to me, I would give all of them the player of the year. I think they have been magnificent. I've said it in every press conference that the game belongs to the players and I think the Sundowns players, in a heightened perspective, have been magnificent and for sure I think it will come from the Sundowns squad because I don't think that there is anyone who has performed beyond the levels that the Sundowns players have performed," Mokwena said during a press conference on Tuesday to prepare for Thursday's Nedbank Cup tie against Marumo Gallants.
