Kaizer Chiefs boss Arthur Zwane reacted to suggestions that his team find themselves in a tough position in the league is due to the lack of quality players at his disposal.
Zwane disagreed that Chiefs lack quality players and argued that it's a matter of players getting used to the system, and that he's missed key players in various stages of the season so far.
Two readers commented extensively on the "Zwane Redefines The Meaning Of Quality Players" story. Here's what they had to say:
"As for me, I think Zwane is full of excuses. There's no way that all senior players are injured, let's just be frank here. Zwane hates Mathoho and the player is not injured he's fit and can do better than any defense he's playing now. They lack leadership at the back.
"Billiat is one of the players that are like Messi and Ronaldo. When they are there, opponents become threatened. And Solomons is one of the best compared to Samkelo Zwane. In short, Zwane failed to buy the right players that fit enough, instead he runs to the babies who are there to grow," says dennis.mogashwa.
"Well said Arthur. It remains to be seen as to whether or not individuals have brains or sour milk in their skulls. How can a league as big as PSL have no quality players. Who in their right mind will buy players who have no quality. It's all in the pot.
"When the ingredients are mixed properly and the recipe is followed, one will have a delicious, palatable dish. Continue to cook the merchandise you have at your disposal," says Soccer Fanatic.

Mamelodi Sundowns are currently sitting top of the DStv Premiership, with a sixteen-point lead over second place, Richards Bay.
The league's pace setters have subsequently been accused of 'killing' SA's topflight, and ex-Chippa United coach Daine Klate weighed in on the topic by questioning what the other clubs in the league are doing to catch-up to Masandawana.
Here's how the readers responded on the "Klate Defends Sundowns, Questions Other PSL Teams" story:
"Let's remind people that soon, Sundowns will be playing in the CAF Super League and CAF champions League... AND the DStv Premiership, as well as other domestic cup competitors. That's why you see Pirates now signing new players because you cannot manage all those competitors with a few players, meanwhile you can afford to spend. Unless you are Kaizer Chiefs (buy 1 get 1 free)," says chupethys.
"Even if there was a regulation capping the the amount a player could be bought for, Chiefs will still be going for the buy-one-get-one free, and snatching those players who are out of contract. Leave Downs alone, let them invest in quality players, win cups and break records," says rameetse.benjy
"Is Mr Klate trying to tell all the teams to have facilities? How many teams in PSL that have financial sponsors and how much are they getting per month? Most of the owners are billionaires and their teams are businesses to them unlike Sundowns," says roykwinda1999.
"Why can't we list all active players from all the teams in the PSL. While we are at it, we check where those players are coming from, and if they were regular players or not. Then I think we can all agree on which team is destroying talent and how," says fando0002.
