The Buccaneers are back in domestic action after booking their spot in the CAF Champions League semi-finals on Wednesday evening following a goalless draw against MC Alger.
Pirates booked their spot in the semi-finals of the Nedbank Cup last month by eliminating SuperSport United on penalties in the last round.
Gallants, meanwhile, also needed penalties to overcome Motsepe Foundation Championship side Durban City in the quarter-final stage.
Abdeslam Ouaddou has managed to steady the ship for Gallants, who have only last two of their last five league matches.
This fixture provides a good memory for Ouaddou, who started his Gallants reign with a 2-0 win over Pirates back in March.
