Call of Duty continues to provide interesting anti-cheat tools as they look to prevent cheaters from ruining the game.
Vanguard now has a new "mitigation technique" which is called Cloaking, and when active it will make all players invisible to cheaters.
So once CoD's RICOCHET security picks up a cheater, who may be using aimbots or any other hacks, the game will make all other players disappear.
Along with not being able to see other players, the cheaters will also not see any bullets or hear any gunfire, but other players will be able to get their revenge in-game.
"Legitimate players, however, can see cheaters impacted by cloaking (generally, they'll be the players you see spinning in circles hollering, 'Who is shooting me?!') and can dole out in-game punishment," read a blog post from the Vanguard development team.
This follows the recent Damage Shield mechanic, which would prevent cheaters from dealing critical damage in the game.
Activision has taken a stern stance against cheaters and previously revealed that they were working on a system that could indefinitely ban cheaters from all future Call of Duty games.
