Following his two-week-assessment at Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers last month, Orlando Pirates attacking sensation Relebohile Mofokeng is understood to have impressed.
The 19-year-old had jetted off quietly to the UK for trials during the previous international break until news broke that he'd been invited by Wolves for a few sessions in that period.
Bucs coach Jose Riveiro then confirmed the latest and praised Mofokeng as an emerging talent that is ready to step up to the big leagues.
The Siya crew has been led to believe the youngster enjoyed his time there and even got to watch a few top flight games.
What now awaits is the way forward…
The transfer window will open in January and a move then hasn't been ruled out, although there's no official word on whether the Houghton-based outfit will sell Mofokeng, who has been a standout player for the Buccaneers since returning from Europe.
Pirates are no strangers to selling their best assets abroad having done so with Lyle Foster to Monaco as well as Marshall Munetsi to Stade de Reims.
Should Wolves move to snap up Mofokeng, who only made his first-team debut in May last year, it's not expected the club would stand in his way given the offer tabled is satisfactory to all parties.
