Orlando Pirates are gearing up for their crucial CAF Champions League quarter-final clash against MC Alger, set to take place tomorrow evening at the 5 July 1962 Stadium in Algiers, Algeria.
However, while excitement builds around the fixture, much of the recent buzz has been about Monnapule Saleng's situation at the club.

Over the weekend, social media was abuzz with Pirates supporters thrilled by the news of Saleng's return to training.
The speculation arose after the Buccaneers posted a video on their official X account on Friday, showcasing the team's camp preparations, with Saleng actively participating in a gym session.
Despite this positive development, sources indicate that the 27-year-old winger did not make the travelling squad for the match in Algeria.
This means fans will have to wait a little longer to see Saleng back in action.
The winger has been absent from Bucs' matchday squads for nearly four months, last featuring in December against Al Ahly in the same competition.
Saleng was initially a key player for Pirates this season, registering five goals and one assist in 13 appearances across all competitions.
However, the reasons behind his prolonged absence remain undisclosed, and neither the club nor his representatives have provided any official updates regarding his future.

While fans are eager for his return, it remains to be seen when the talented Bloemhof-born star will be back on the pitch for the Buccaneers.
"He didn't travel with the team. I would be lying if I say I know when he will be back on the field, but not in this one – it's highly unlikely," said the source.
