Mahlatse Makudubela could be back in Mzansi sooner than expected as the Siya crew has learnt of interest in his services in the PSL.
Makudubela has been away from home for just under 10 months, plying his trade in Tanzania for Young Africans.
However, the 34-year-old hasn't enjoyed regular game-time under former Mamelodi Sundowns coach Miguel Gamondi at the Tanzanian giants leading to speculation that he might not be with the club beyond this season.
Furthermore, the ex-Orlando Pirates midfielder has his contract nearing an end as he signed a one-year deal at Yanga after parting ways with Marumo Gallants at the end of last season.
Sources in the know have hinted that AmaZulu are keeping an eye on Makudubela's situation and are showing interest.
In their current squad, Usuthu have Hendrick 'Pule' Ekstein who has been one of the top performers this season and had been signed after coming back from abroad in 2021, with the indications that the Durban-based club may look to follow a similar route with Makudubela.
