Chipolopolo No.1 Linked With PSL Clubs

Zambia national team first-choice goalkeeper Toaster Nsabata has been linked with a return to the PSL, the Siya crew has been informed.

Insiders in both South Africa and Zambia have indicated that two clubs, newly promoted Magesi FC and TS Galaxy, are both believed to be interested and have inquired about the Zesco United number one.

The sources added that since leaving Sekhukhune United at the beginning of last season, Nsabata has been doing very well in the Zambian Super League.

"As for TS Galaxy they inquired about him before he left for Zambia when they lost Melusi Buthelezi to Orlando Pirates but at that time nothing happened and now they are back in for him. As for Magesi it's all a new thing. They are looking at someone who will compete with Elvis Chipezeze," said the Siya source.

"They believe that he is the right choice to compete with Chipezeze so that they have two top class goalkeepers to cover for each other. It will all depend on which club moves fast and really needs him but that could only happen in January," the source added.

A second insider stated that his move back to Zambia really helped him rediscover his form, which has led to the interest and inquiry from these two South African clubs.

"He is back in form. He has fully recovered from the injury which led to Sekhukhune United terminating his contract. He is back in the Zambia national team which has helped the team qualify for the Morocco AFCON 2025 finals. So it's not surprising that TS Galaxy and Magesi are interested in him. There is nothing concluded yet but there is interest from two PSL clubs," the second source stated.

The 34-year-old Zambian is the current Chipolopolo first choice and is looking forward to being at the AFCON finals in Morocco in December next year.

Soccer Laduma contacted both Magesi and TS Galaxy for comment, but there was no response at the time of preparing this story.

As Nsabata prepares for a potential return to the PSL, the interest from TS Galaxy and Magesi FC highlight their recognition of his impressive form and valuable experience.
