A Kaizer Chiefs player who has been out on the sidelines could be ready to feature in the matchday squad, which is a big boost for the side.
Amakhosi are back in action this weekend when they travel to KZN to face Richards Bay in the Premiership, needing a victory after losing their last two matches against Chippa United and Stellenbosch FC.

Amakhosi have recorded just one win in 2024 and have struggled defensively of late, conceding six goals in their last four league matches.
Indications are that Botswana national team captain Thatayaone Ditlhokwe, who has not featured for the club this year due to injury, is back and could be ready to at least feature in the matchday squad.
The former SuperSport United defender sustained a shoulder injury while on international duty towards the end of last year and he has certainly been missed, considering he was building a solid partnership with Given Msimango before he got sidelined.
Ditlhokwe has made 16 appearances in all competitions for the club this season and he could just be the man they need to solidify their defence at this crucial point in the season. Amakhosi are looking to finish in the top eight and they don't have too much room for error at this point.

In Ditlhokwe's absence, Chiefs have been using Edmilson Dove as a left-sided centre back. Amakhosi take on Richards Bay on Sunday afternoon.
