Stellenbosch FC are believed to be working hard to retain midfielder Sihle Nduli, who has been linked with Kaizer Chiefs, according to insiders privy to information.
The way forward would be to offer Nduli a new contract as his current deal reportedly approaches its end.

As previously reported by Soccer Laduma, Chiefs have been monitoring Nduli, who has impressed with his performances at Stellenbosch.
However, insiders have now indicated that Stellies want a two-year contract extension to be proposed to the player, with an additional one-year option.
"At the moment his current contract is believed to be coming to an end at the end of the season. So, now the club has apparently offered him a new two-year deal with a one-year option. The club is apparently very happy with him and they don't want to lose him hence this new offer for him to stay at the club," the insider told Soccer Laduma.
Despite this, Kaizer Chiefs remain interested in Nduli and are reportedly keeping a close eye on the situation.
A second insider explained that Chiefs had at one point in the past expected to sign the midfielder on a free transfer.

"There was a time when it looked like Chiefs could get him for free but with this new offer on the table for him by Stellies, then it doesn't look like Chiefs will get him. But apparently Chiefs are still monitoring the situation as they are believed to be interested in him," the second insider revealed.
It remains to be seen how Stellies' move to keep Nduli would affect Amakhosi's intentions to potentially sign him. Nduli had joined Stellenbosch from TS Galaxy in 2022 on a three-year contract that runs until June. This season, the midfielder has been a key figure for Stellies, making most of the league appearances in the Betway Premiership.
Soccer Laduma reached out to Stellenbosch FC for comment on the midfielder’s contract situation, but no response was received by the time of publishing.
