Orlando Pirates could be close to agreeing a deal with AmaZulu FC for their defender, the Siya crew has been informed.
Soccer Laduma had already reported how Pirates were interested in Riaan Hanamub, having tracked transfer developments on this potential deal through the season.

Siya sources have indicated this interest was stepped up after the Africa Cup of Nations where Hanamub had represented Namibia.
The sources close to both clubs have now added that a deal between both parties could be close.
"The deal is imminent. It's on the cards and it could happen any time. All the parties involved have agreed on the deal and it's as good as done," said the Siya source.
"Pirates have been in the hunt for Riaan (Hanamub) for some time now and they are happy with his progress at AmaZulu and would like to bring him on board as early as the start of next season. For now, I don't know what will stop the move," the source told Soccer Laduma.
A second Siya source added that the Buccaneers have offered the 29-year-old Namibian a three-year contract which will run until June 2027.
"He has been offered a three-year contract. That's the initial one. They will discuss the other issues as soon as he joins the team during the off season. You know he is 29 years of age and by 2027 he will be 32 years and can still renew at that time. But that's the offer to the player and the other issues are between club and club but the deal is as good as done at the moment," the source concluded.
The Namibian has so far featured in 22 DStv Premiership league games for AmaZulu this season and has even scored a goal and provided two assists.
Soccer Laduma contacted Pirates for a comment but the club had not responded by the time this story was published.
