According to Siya sources, Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca could soon reach a settlement agreement with midfielder Haashim Domingo.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns player is apparently on the wanted list of several DStv Premiership sides who are watching his current dispute with Raja closely. Soccer Laduma has previously reported that Cape Town City are searching for a No.10 and coach Eric Tinkler has earmarked Domingo as a possible signing, but only if he is a free agent and they can match his wages.
Domingo joined Raja last year following the surprise decision not to accept a revised offer from Sundowns to keep him on board although coach Rulani Mokwena still had the ex-junior international as part of his plans.
But not long after he arrived in Morocco did Domingo start to experience financial difficulties at his new club, who failed to pay his signing-on fee.
Domingo has since taken the matter to FIFA for intervention and with Raja fearing yet another transfer ban ahead of next season, the Siya crew has established that the two parties could reach a settlement.
Should this potential agreement be confirmed, Domingo would then become a free agent and be in a position to join a club of his choice from July 1.
