With interest being shown on Sekhukhune United's Vusumzi Mncube, the Siya crew understands the player's current employers are willing to listen to offers, though he won't come cheap.
The midfielder joined Babina Noko in 2021 on a three-year deal from second tier side JDR Stars. He has been a regular at the side, having amassed 49 league appearances in his first two seasons with the team.
In the current campaign, the player has featured nine times in the league, and now indications are that AmaZulu FC are the latest club to be interested in his services. However, they may have to be prepared to pay in the region of R3 million, according to informants, for the star who can also play as a striker and on both wings.
"Vusumzi Mncube has attracted interest from AmaZulu. He is a player that has been consistent and AmaZulu would love to have him in their team," said a source.
"The player is nearing the end of his contract with Sekhukhune, but the club wouldn't want to lose him on a free. The club is looking at the region of R3 million for his services and there is a likelihood of the deal being extended," the source added.
As reported by the Siya crew, the Orlando Pirates youth product is not the only Sekhukhune player that has attracted interest from Usuthu, with Kamohelo Mokotjo being another one. Watch this space.
