Cape Town Spurs will be under pressure in the coming weeks with some of the DStv Premiership big guns looking to snap up their players.
Spurs' relegation to the Motsepe Foundation Championship has already been confirmed, after just one season back in the top flight. While the club insists that their best players will be staying with them as they go down to the second tier, the Siya crew has been led to believe that the big three clubs in the PSL, as well as a few others, are preparing to open up their cheque books to bring in some of the young stars who have a bright future ahead of them.

The one player who is said to be a transfer target for up to three clubs is striker Ashley Cupido, who has scored six goals in this Premiership season. As previously reported by the Siya crew, Orlando Pirates are interested in the player, as well as SuperSport United. It's believed Mamelodi Sundowns are sniffing around as they are looking to bolster their striking department with some younger talent, but nothing is on the table as yet from the champions.
Defender Rushwin Dortley is another player who looks set to make an exit at the end of the campaign, with interest coming in from a couple of clubs. Kaizer Chiefs have previously shown an interest while Spurs were campaigning in the second tier and the Soweto giants could look at trying to bring him on board now that the Cape club is going down. Cape Town City, meanwhile, are believed to be monitoring the player as they look for a long-term replacement for veteran defender Marc Van Heerden.
It's understood that 17-year-old Luke Baartman has attracted interest from SuperSport, who are determined to freshen up their squad following an inconsistent campaign. Baartman is one of Spurs' most prized possessions and the club is not likely to let him go cheaply, while they could also look at keeping him for at least one more season in the hope that he will play a part in helping them return to the top flight.

The Siya crew understands that another player who could be set for greener pastures is Chumani Butsaka.
Luvuyo Phewa and Siyanda Msani are set to return to Sundowns from their loan spell, as well as Boitumelo Radiopane, who belongs to Pirates.
