As part of planning the squad for next season, the Soweto giants have released Cameroonian striker Souaibou Marou from his contract, while assistant coach Sergio Almenara has left the club by mutual consent too, with the Spanish mentor citing family reasons for his departure.
With Bucs having certain players at the end of their contracts, while the club is also planning for a return to the CAF Champions League after a disappointing early exit this past season, the powers that be are expected to make crucial decisions in the coming weeks, according to sources.
"The club is pleased with the season that has been completed and will be aiming for improvement going forward. As has been the norm in the previous seasons, it has reached to that time where important decisions will be made on player contracts and so on and that's what will be on the club's agenda in the coming few weeks," said the source.
