Alexandre Santos – the highly rated coach who has been linked with Kaizer Chiefs – has confirmed having talks with the Soweto giants, in an exclusive but brief conversation with the Siya crew.
Santos is currently unattached after parting ways with Angolan giants Petro de Luanda on the weekend as his contract was nearing an end.

The Portuguese tactician's exit from Petro Atletico, as the club is otherwise known, came as a surprise for many as he has been one of the most successful coaches for the team in recent years.
Siya sources in the know revealed that the decision for not extending the deal was amicable for the parties after the 47-year-old expressed interest in furthering his career elsewhere.
Answering on being linked with Amakhosi, the UEFA Pro Licence holder confirmed to the Siya crew that he has had talks with the Soweto giants.

"They (Chiefs) talked with me but we don't have any deal," Santos said, without providing more details.
During his three-year spell with Petro, Santos won three league titles and three cup competitions and is highly regarded on the continent.
