Following the January movements of Thabiso Lebitso from Chippa to Pirates and Bienvenu Eva Nga who went the opposite direction, three more players from the Soweto giants are linked with the Eastern Cape club.
As indicated by sources, Bucs' trio of Sandile Mthethwa, Siphelo Baloni and Thabiso Sesane have attracted interest from the Gqeberha-based outfit.
While the three players remain in the plans at the Buccaneers, they have struggled for regular game-time, with the club understood to be open to the idea of sending them on loan if their situation doesn't change in the remaining games of the season.
"Chippa is interested in no less than three players from Pirates, and they are Sandile Mthethwa, Baloni and Sesane. The club (Chippa) will be monitoring their situation for the rest of the season with a possibility to enquire about them on loan," said the source.
"The players are in the plans at Pirates but the club will want to see them playing to grow and you can expect talks to begin in the coming weeks," the source said.
