The German tactician led Raja into a domestic cup double in Morocco and without a defeat in the league, which has led to clubs showing serious interest in him, with Sundowns understood to be one of the potential suitors in their search for Rulani Mokwena's replacement.
However, the Brazilians would face tough competition in Zinnbauer from the Middle East if they were to make an offer for the former Orlando Pirates coach's services, according to sources.
As confirmed to the Siya crew by close sources, interest is being shown in Zinnbauer from Saudi Arabia, although the coach's representatives are yet to decide on their next move.

Earlier indications had been that the 54-year-old would extend his stay with Raja as part of the club's plans for competing in the CAF Champions League next season.
Reported outstanding contractual issues seem to have affected the plans, with the mentor now expected to be elsewhere in the new season.
