Erasmus has struggled for game time with Pirates this season, watching on from the stands most of the time with the likes of Tshegofatso Mabasa, Evidence Makgopa and Zakhele Lepasa often playing ahead of him.
He has made just 11 appearances in all competitions for Pirates this season, finding the back of the net once during this period. The former SuperSport United man is yet to make an appearance in 2024, with the possibility of ending the campaign without some time on the pitch this year.
As things stand, the Siya crew understands that the player is open to making an exit and making a fresh start at a club where he is going to get an opportunity to play regularly and it's believed that there is a club that is considering having him on board.
The Siya crew understands that City are a possible destination for the 33-year-old, having previously made an impact at the club before joining Mamelodi Sundowns in 2020.

The club had previously signed players who made an impact while they were in their 30s. Both Teko Modise and Mpho Makola made a good contribution at the club in the latter years of their careers.
